About Lord Nelson: Lord Nelson is a rock and roll band from foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Embracing a driving southern rock identity, they perform original songs about the land and people they grew up around. Inspiration comes from a variety of artists and genres for this 5-piece, resulting in a unique sound that features three-part vocal harmonies, soaring horn lines, and funk-laden rock beats. Brothers Kai Crowe-Getty(guitar, vocals) and Bram Crowe-Getty (drums), and Henry Jones (trombone, vocals), have been the driving force behind the band which also features Robert Word (lead guitar) and Trevor Pietsch (bass).
