Peyton Tochterman & Man on a Horse

with Sarah White

About Man on a Horse

Man on A Horse is the idea of drummer Stuart Gunter.  He called up his buddies harmonicist Gary Green, bassist Andy Waldeck, and guitarist and songwriter Peyton Tochterman in order to put together a quartet that explores roots American Music and songwriting and present original music in a fresh but classic way. Of Earth to Andy fame, Waldeck is a master bassist and a natural songwriter. American Roots UK calls Gunter “an excellent musician.” Green is a World Champion. Seriously. He competed in France and Germany and won The Harmonica World Championships. As for Tochterman and his songs,  MAVERICK MAGAZINE calls him a “skillful song poet” and Vintage Guitar player says his playing “demands attention.” All that aside, this is a band that you can still just “kick back and drink a cold beer to. ”(Peyton’s Mom) They will be joined by singer and guitarist Luke Wilson. Their music is purely American, certainly Virginian and it is honest, bold, and uncompromising.    Sounds like beer ad, doesn’t it.   Well, come take a sip and see for yourself.

Proceeds from the event will go towards The Women’s Initiative. The mission of The Women’s Initiative is to provide women with effective counseling, social support and education so they can transform life challenges into positive change and growth.
