About Ashley McMillen
Ashley McMillen called Charlottesville home for 4 years before making her way to Nashville to pursue her dreams in songwriting. In fact, those 4 years in Central Virginia proved to be some of the most pivotal years in her music career. In addition to opening for some of the biggest names in country music including Martina McBride, Gary Allan, Sara Evans, and Tyler Farr, among others, Ashley wrote the popular theme song for the Charlottesville Newsplex, “Where Community Counts.” You may also recognize her from Hitkicker 99.7 Central Virginia Country Radio, as she worked as an on-air radio personality and also hosted her very own show featuring local and regional country music talent, the Hitkicker Homegrown Hour, a concept that allowed her to help local artists and original music to be heard and appreciated.
You can hear Ashley's music on virtually every music platform, including Pandora (Ashley McMillen Radio), Sirius XM Radio, among others. She is honored to be endorsed as a Breedlove Guitars Artist and is an active member of the Nashville Songwriter's Association International (NSAI) and the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP). Today, she’s making her mark in Nashville and, if you know anything about this girl’s ambition and spirit, the sky’s the limit. www.ashleymcmillen.com
