American Dumpster

with Koda & The Drunken Allstars

About American Dumpster:

American Dumpster: A notoriously good-time “Junkyard Folk” band fronted by local musician, mechanic, performance artist, vehicle sculptor and all around Carny Christian Breeden and backed by scene stalwarts Betty Jo Dominick and Steve Riggs (from Red & The Romantics), guitarist Andrew Ewell and drummer Warren Jobe. Their sound is audio Long Island Ice Tea where the “spirits” are Tom Waits, Gogol Bordello and Hunter S. Thompson. Insane and unpredictable selections bracketed by Zydeco rockers, Beausoleil grooves and compelling stream-of-conscious narratives. Their list of local accomplishments is long but one notable worth mentioning was opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd at the CPAV back in ‘06. Catching American Dumpster these days is rarer than seeing Halley’s Comet so make sure you're in the building early to witness their majestic return.

About Koda & The Drunken Allstars:

Created as a side project by touring musicians Koda Kerl (Chamomile and Whiskey) and Johnny Stubblefield (Parachute), the Drunken All Stars are a unique colloboration. Equal parts Country, Funk, and Southern Rock... the band is an eclectic representation of the region. They regularly feature guest musicians along with Drew Kimball on lead guitar and Eames "Catbird" Coleman on bass.
