Borrowed Beams of Light - Split Tape Release Show

with New Boss and Klauss - Presented by WTJU

Harrisonburg-based indie label Funny/NotFunny Records has been championing local and regional artists for over five years now, focusing their DIY aesthetic towards the release of small batches of LPS, 45s, and cassettes by over 20 great bands from around the East Coast--Whatever Brains, Naked Gods, Eternal Summers, Y'ALL, Andrew Cedermark, Order, Borrowed Beams of Light, and The Young Sinclairs to name a few.  But you might recall that one of the first releases by F/NF was the self-titled, debut LP by now defunct Charlottesville power-pop band, Invisible Hand.  Invisible Hand was the project that brought Thomas Dean (Order, and now... New Boss) and Adam Brock (Borrowed Beams of Light, Weird Mob, Y'ALL) together to make music, and on February 26 they release a split cassette tape in the spirit of that collaboration.  Come celebrate Funny/Not Funny's release of the Borrowed Beams/New Boss split demos collection, on cassette with digital download included.  The inimitable Klauss opens.
