Waasi & Friends

ft Saekyi, Keese, O'Shea Woodhouse, and DJ Flatline

Waasi, an independent hip hop artist based out of Charlottesville, Virginia is on the rise across the east coast with his unique brand of sounds and style. With his 2 albums ``From Virginia With Love" and "No Love Lost" Waasi has been able to cultivate a fan base and connect with the people through his art.

Saekyi is one of those artists who refuses to be put into any sort of preconceived box. The melding of genres is quite impressive, especially coming from an artist this early in their career. He moves with the confidence of a veteran creative but refreshes our auditory tastebuds with every drop.

You can hear the influence of his VA predecessors in the percussive style within “Angels Don’t Call Me”, but new days and new ears are upon us. It’s not like this style has ever been brought into the limelight, because Saekyi is a real underground maestro from start to finish. You can hear unbridled passion when it comes to the strokes of his pen. Both the subject matter meshed with his melodic and harmonious approaches stun even the most seasoned of music fans.

Keese is an aspiring artist from Charlottesville, VA. He has done numerous shows throughout the area, including playing for UVA, The Jefferson, and The Southern. He's been featured in The Daily Progress, C-Ville Weekly and across local radio stations. His mission is to put this city on the map for something positive.

OShea Woodhouse, The Artist and clothing designer. A conscious message from Houston, Texas with a southern flow of lyricism and generational keys. His messages of black empowerment, fatherhood, and cultural art enable him to reach any generation and ethnicity of Hip Hop. The movement is WE FREE, and O'Shea's voice carries the theme music.
