The OmegaCon Cosplay Ball

Prepare for an evening of amazing costumes, dance, and DJs at the The Southern – Friday, May 13 is the 2016 OmegaCon Cosplay Ball and Contest! Cosplay involves often elaborate costumes depicting characters from your favorite games, TV shows, movies and other popular fiction – from Zelda to Princess Leia and everywhere in-between. Contests for best costume will be decided by a panel of expert judges. The Cosplay Contest has three winners: Al's choice- Best Craftsmanship. Meg's choice- Most Creative. and Beta's favorite- Fans favorite outfit. Each winner receives a pair of weekend passes (an $80 value)! If a group cosplay wins then each member of the group will be awarded a weekend pass.

The evening is presented by OmegaCon, the leading gaming and anime convention in Central Virginia which returns to Charlottesville August 26-28 at the Holiday Inn on Emmett street.
