About Hazeltone:

Born in Charlottesville, Hayes Elverston grew up playing music and not going to school like most normal kids but he turned out OK… Quoted from an anonymous Charlottesvillian.  Among his Charlottesville buddies he is AKA ”The Cowboy”.

Hayes has created an all original Americana groovy sound, with a few handcrafted covers from influences like Mumford and Sons, Haines Fulerton, The Doors and Tom Petty. He started Hazeltone in 2007 which mixes the ingredients of 7 different band members with flavors of sound from acoustic 12 strings, harmonica, hollow body electric, pedal steel, piano, accordion, drums, congas, violin, banjo, mandolin and bass.
