with Owen Stroud
About Lora Kelley:
Lora Kelley’s sophomore self-titled EP is an exploration of her female experience. Her music touches on the poignancy of grief and the mystery of memory in “Both Hands” a song about the loss of her family’s matriarch. In more playful riffs, “Good Men Don’t Hurt You” nods its head at hook-up culture and the “shit” people put up with for the sake of love. With gentle story-telling lyrics and lilting melodies, this EP is a nostalgic and enjoyable experience for the listener.
About Owen Stroud:
"Austin-born Owen Stroud grew up steeped in the music of his native Texas. Folk, blues, rock, and country influences fuel his lyrics about relationships and places dear to his soul. His debut album will be released in the fall of 2018."
