Paul Koors Band

Benefit Show

All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Paul Koors Memorial Foundation (paulkoorsfoundation.org), which will be supporting the John Ritter Research Foundation for Aortic Health as the beneficiary of this concert.

About Paul Koors Band:

This Charlottesville all-star band plays the music of Paul Koors, an emerging singer-song-writer and doctor who wrote two albums of country-tinged rock songs, but passed away suddenly at the age of 38 from sudden heart failure before the second could be released.  This concert is an album release party for his second album, "Make a Man, the Unfinished Life of Paul Koors." It is a benefit for the Paul Koors Memorial Foundation which is raising money for medical research into aortic health, and also for music education in songwriting, Paul's passion.

The players:
Peyton Tochterman - guitar and vocals
James McLaughlin - drums
Justin Esposito - violin
Greg Howard - Chapman Stick

"Paul was a brilliant writer, singer and guitarist, a "seeker" and a truly sweet cat. His songs are thought-provoking and fun.  He can't play them for you, so we must. I can't wait for this show."
—Greg Howard (Paul's producer)
